Sanjay Taxi

Sanjay Taxi is based at Tc 50/857 Koottumvathukkal Veedu in Thaliyal, specifically the Kalady area of Karamana. We are right by the Indira Gandhi Statue, which is an easy landmark for anyone trying to find us. This is basically where we manage the taxi business. It’s not a corporate office by any means; it’s more of a home-based setup where the phones never really stop. Thiruvananthapuram traffic is getting worse every year, so we spend a lot of time figuring out the best shortcuts through Karamana. Our drivers are always coming in and out, grabbing a quick glass of water or checking their next pickup. The house is old and has a lot of character, with a big tree outside that gives some good shade for the cars. We have a lot of notebooks where we scribble down booking times and names. Sometimes the handwriting is hard to read, and we have to call the customer back to double-check. It’s a bit of a scramble during the wedding season when everyone needs a ride at the same time. We don't have fancy apps or anything, just some decent people and working cars. It’s a lot of early mornings and late nights, but that is just the nature of driving taxis for a living. We’ve been around this statue for years now, and most of the locals know our cars when they see them passing by.
