Samrat Hotel

We are situated on Thakaraparambu Road. It is a very active part of town with a lot of shops and people moving around. Our hotel is a simple building that has been here for many years. We have a front desk that is almost always manned by someone, even late at night. The rooms are plain, with just the things you need like a fan and a bed. We don't go in for expensive decorations or fancy rugs. Most of our guests are people who are just passing through for work or local business. We keep the place as clean as we can, but it is an old building and shows its age in places. The street outside is loud with the sound of rickshaws and vendors, but that is just the energy of this neighborhood. We don't have a big story or some grand vision. We are just here to offer a room to people who need one. Every morning, we check the water tanks and make sure the hallways are mopped. It is a lot of routine work, but we are used to it. We know most of the people who own the shops on this road. It is a tight-knit community and we are just a small part of it. We just take each day as it comes and try to be helpful.
