Royal Kazbay Resorts Private Limited

Our place, Garden Villa, is in the Manthara area of Edava, near Thiruvananthapuram. We run Royal Kazbay Resorts from here. It’s a quiet spot and we are close enough to the sea to feel the breeze most of the time. The postal code is 695311. We aren't a big hotel group or a corporate chain. It’s just a small operation we started. I spend most of my day outside in the garden or checking the guest rooms. There is always sand to sweep up because of the beach being so close. The salt in the air means we have to paint the walls and fix the metal parts more often than people in the city do. We have some coconut trees that we have to look after as well. We don't have a big staff of employees. It's mostly just family and a few neighbors who help out when it gets busy during the season. We don't use any fancy marketing tricks or polished ads. We just tell people we have some rooms and a garden. It’s a simple place for people who want to be near Edava. We spent all of last month fixing the roof before the monsoon rains started. It’s a lot of physical work keeping a place like this going. We aren't trying to be the most famous resort around here. We just want to keep the place clean and the guests comfortable. It’s a practical life and we enjoy the pace.
