Riya Travel And Tours is based out of Thryambaka on Sarvodayam Road. You can find us in the Santhivila neighborhood of Nemom. It’s a local place, and we’ve been operating here for a while now. Vineesh handles a lot of the day-to-day stuff. We don't have a giant storefront with neon signs. It’s more of a home-grown setup where we focus on getting people their travel plans sorted out. Nemom is a busy enough place, but our street stays relatively calm. We deal with buses, trains, and flights, depending on what people are looking for when they walk in or call us up. The office has a lot of maps and brochures lying around, though we mostly use the computers these days. It can get a bit cluttered with papers, but we know where everything is. We don't use fancy scripts when we talk to people; we just tell them what’s available and what the prices are looking like. There’s a lot of back-and-forth with the different travel providers, which takes up most of our morning. By the afternoon, we’re usually just finishing up the bookings. It's a straightforward business. We like the fact that we're tucked away in Santhivila rather than being in a crowded mall. It feels more real this way. We just keep the wheels turning and help folks get to where they need to go. Every day is a bit different depending on who calls.
