Opual Hotels and Resorts is run by a few of us here in Balaramapuram. You can find us at Karumiuvilakathu Puthen Veedu, which is PRA-94. We are over in the Thalayal area of Trivandrum. Most people know Balaramapuram for the handloom clothes, but we are focused on the hotel side of things. It’s a family-run sort of feel here. J Joise is the one who handles a lot of the main stuff. The house is where we manage our business from. It’s a typical Trivandrum neighborhood with narrow roads and a lot of houses close together. We don't have a big fancy lobby. We just have our office room where we take calls and plan for our guests. Kerala is a beautiful place and we want to help people see that without it costing a fortune. We focus on the small details that make a stay okay. It's mostly about being clean and honest with people. We don't use any corporate talk here. If you call us, you'll probably just talk to one of us directly. We handle the bookings and make sure the resorts are ready. It’s a lot of back and forth, but we enjoy the work. Balaramapuram is a good place to be based because it’s a bit away from the main city rush but still close enough to get things done. We have been at this for some time and know the area well.
