Loking For Job

Our little setup is based at Lekhmi Bhavan in Kollakara, Perukavu. It’s a quiet part of the T.V.P.M area with the 695573 pin code. The name on the door says Loking For Job, which is exactly what we focus on here. It’s a small, modest office in a residential-feeling neighborhood. We don’t have a big staff or any fancy equipment. Usually, it’s just a few of us sitting around a couple of old tables with our laptops. We spend the day looking through listings, helping people with their paperwork, and answering the door when locals stop by to ask for advice. The atmosphere is very low-key. We have tea together in the afternoon and talk about the news. Perukavu is a peaceful place to work, away from the main noise of the city. The office itself is just a room in the building that we’ve made our own. There are stacks of resumes and notebooks everywhere. We aren't some big employment agency with a shiny lobby. We are just local people trying to help other people find a bit of work. It’s a slow process sometimes, and we have to be patient. We keep track of everything in simple folders. It’s a small operation, but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. We just take things one day at a time here at Lekhmi Bhavan and see what happens.
