Kingfisher Airlines Limited

Kakudiyle House is where we have our office for Kingfisher Airlines Limited. It’s located in Nalanchira, right here in Trivandrum, Kerala. The house itself has been here for a long time, and we’ve set up our workspace inside. It’s a bit of an old-fashioned building with thick walls, which actually keeps it quite cool even when it's hot outside. We don't have a big sign out front, just a small one near the entrance so people know they’re in the right place. Inside, it’s mostly desks, filing cabinets, and the sound of keyboards clicking. We spend the day checking schedules and talking to people about their flights. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other times it’s completely silent. We keep a pot of tea going in the small kitchen area in the back. It’s not a corporate environment with a lot of rules about what you wear. We just dress comfortably and get on with the job. The floors are a bit worn down in the spots where the chairs roll back and forth, but it’s a solid place to work. We’ve seen the airline industry change quite a bit from this office. People still drop by to ask questions in person instead of calling. We don't mind that at all. It makes the day go by a bit faster when you have someone to talk to face-to-face. We just keep things moving.
