Kerala Institute Of Medical Science

Started here in Neyyattinkara some time back. The building is at Kannamkulam Puthen Veedu near the Thayal area. It is mostly busy because folks come from all over Aralumoodu and nearby spots. We spend our days dealing with patients and files. It’s not a quiet place, especially in the mornings when the sun hits the front gate. The floors are always being cleaned. Sometimes the smell of medicine is quite strong, but you get used to it after a week or so. Most of the staff are locals who walk or take the bus to the P.O. nearby. We have some old desks and chairs that have been here for years. It is just a regular medical spot where people come to get fixed up. There is a small tea shop just outside the gate where we go for breaks when it isn’t raining too hard. The traffic on the road can be a bit much during peak hours. We try to keep things moving as fast as we can, but some days are just slower than others. The garden in the back needs some work, but the plants are still growing okay. It’s a lot of work keeping everything organized. People come in worried, and we just do what we need to do. It’s a job like any other, but you see a lot of life here every single day. We don’t have fancy signs or anything, just the work.
