Jet Airways(I) Ltd

Being located in Palakkad, Kerala, at the 678004 area, our office for Jet Airways(I) Ltd is a bit away from the big city rush. Most people think of airlines and imagine big airports, but here it’s just us in a regular building handling the back-end stuff. The weather in Palakkad can be quite tough with the heat, but the office stays relatively cool. We spend our hours going through flight schedules and managing the local requirements that come up. It’s a small team, and we’ve all worked together for a long time, so we don't really have those formal meetings you see in movies. We just talk across the desks. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow, especially when it rains heavily, which happens a lot in Kerala, but we manage to get the logs updated eventually. There is a small tea shop around the corner where we usually grab a snack in the afternoon. It’s a quiet life compared to the actual flying part of the business. We don't have a big lobby or a receptionist in a uniform. It’s just desks, computers, and a lot of paper. People from the neighborhood sometimes drop by just to ask questions about travel, and we help them out with whatever information we have on our screens. It feels like a very local operation even though the name on the door is a big one.
