I.H.M.C.T,Kovalam

We’ve been here in Kovalam for a while now, right near the coast. The building at I.H.M.C.Y stays pretty busy most days with people coming in and out. It’s not a fancy place, just a spot where we get things done and help folks learn what they need for the hotel trade. You can usually hear the wind from the sea if it’s quiet enough, but it rarely is. Most of us here have been around this part of Trivandrum for years, so we know the shortcuts and the local spots for tea. The hallways are a bit narrow and the paint might be peeling in a corner or two, but that doesn't stop the work from happening. We don't have a big front desk with a shiny sign, just a regular entrance where you’ll find one of us sitting. It gets hot in the afternoons, especially when the sun hits the front of the building. We just open the windows and keep moving. Sometimes the paperwork piles up on the desks, and we spend the morning sorting through files. It’s just how it goes here. People stop by to ask questions about the courses or just to see what’s happening. We try to keep things simple and honest without making a big fuss about it. It’s a decent place to spend the day, and we like being part of the community here in Kovalam.
