Ideal Ayurvedic Resort

Ideal Ayurvedic Resort is located right on Chowara Beach, which is just a little way down from the main part of Kovalam. It is a spot where the sand is right there at the doorstep. We run this place as a mix of a small hotel and a traditional treatment center. Because we are right on the beach, you can always smell the salt in the air and hear the ocean crashing against the shore. It is a very natural environment. We have several rooms for guests who want to stay for a week or two and really get into the rhythm of the treatments. The garden is full of local plants that we use, and we spend a lot of time making sure they are watered and cared for. It’s not a five-star luxury hotel with marble floors, but it is comfortable and clean. Most of our guests are people who want to avoid the big crowds in the center of town. They come here to sit on the porch and watch the sunset after their afternoon session. We have a small kitchen that prepares simple meals that go along with the lifestyle here. The staff are mostly local people from Chowara who know the area inside out. We just try to keep things relaxed and helpful for whoever decides to stay with us. It is a peaceful way to live and work.
