Iaca

Iaca is located at Bharathi Mandiram in Manamboor P.O., which is in the Trivandrum district of Kerala. This isn't the city part of Trivandrum; it’s much further out, where things are a lot slower and more peaceful. The building, Bharathi Mandiram, has a very traditional feel to it. It’s the kind of place where you leave your shoes at the entrance and can hear the wind in the coconut trees outside. We work on various local projects and coordination from here. Because we are in a village area like Manamboor, everyone knows everyone. People might stop by just to say hello or ask for help with some local matter. We don't have high-speed elevators or fancy coffee machines. We just have a small kitchen where we make tea and a few rooms with basic furniture. The work we do is practical and straightforward. We don't spend money on advertising or big signs. Most of our work is done through word of mouth and long-standing relationships in the community. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, and we just sit and wait for it to come back, talking about local news. It’s a very grounded way to work. We are just a small group of people in a quiet part of Kerala trying to do our part and keep the office running smoothly every day.
