Hotel Udayasamudra,Kovalam,Trivandrum

Our place is Hotel Udayasamudra, located down in Kovalam. Specifically, if you’re looking for the office side of things, we are over at K P 2/1274, Sivaganga in Vandithadam. It’s part of the Vellayani area, zip code 695 522. Kerala is beautiful, but it can be quite humid, so we are always moving a bit slower in the afternoons. Trivandrum is where we’ve always been. The building has its quirks, like any old place, but we manage. We’ve got a lot of staff who have been here for years. We mostly just focus on the day-to-day tasks. Whether it’s cleaning up or helping someone with a question, there is always something to do. The area around Vandithadam is relatively quiet compared to the main city center, which we appreciate. You can hear the birds in the morning if you get in early enough. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We’re just a local business trying to do things right. Sometimes we run out of coffee in the breakroom, or the printer jams, but that’s just how office life goes. People around here know us by name. It’s a community feel. We like being part of the local fabric here in Kerala. It’s a good spot to be, even when the monsoon hits and everything gets soaked. We just keep the doors open and keep working. The routine stays pretty much the same day after day.
