Hotel Saj Lucia

We are over at East Fort, right in the 695023 part of town. Hotel Saj Lucia has been around this neighborhood for a good while now. It’s a busy spot, being near the fort and all the shops that surround it. You can hear the city moving all day long from here. We start our mornings early, usually before the sun is all the way up, just to get a head start on the cleaning. The building is solid, but it shows its age in some corners, which we think is just part of being in an old area like East Fort. We don’t use any big words to describe ourselves. We are just a hotel where people stay. Sometimes the traffic outside makes it hard for cars to pull in, but we manage. We spend a lot of time talking to the regulars and the people who work nearby. It feels like a small community even though it’s a big city. We’ve got a lot of stairs and hallways that we have to keep tidy. It’s a lot of walking for us every day. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. It’s just us, the people who work here, making sure the rooms are ready for whoever shows up. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years, but we’re still here doing the same work we’ve always done at East Fort. Just another day at the hotel.
