Hotel Ruby Arena

Our hotel is located at Uthradam Nivas on Venganoor Street in the Pallichal area of Trivandrum. We are right near the Vinayaka Auditorium, so we get a lot of people staying over after attending functions there. The street is always full of life, especially when there is a wedding or a festival happening. Our building has been here for a while and you can see it in the architecture. We have a few rooms spread across the floors. The lobby is small with a few plants that we try to keep alive despite the heat. We don't have a giant buffet or a swimming pool, just clean beds and a place to wash up. Most of the staff are local guys who have been with us since we opened. We spend our afternoons folding laundry and checking the registers. Sometimes the plumbing acts up in the older rooms, but we get it fixed pretty quick. It’s a lot of manual work running a hotel, and our hands are usually busy with something. We like talking to the guests about where they are from and what brought them to this part of the city. It’s not a five-star experience, but we provide a solid place to sleep. We are just regular people trying to run a decent business in a busy neighborhood.
