Hotel Rahmaniya Kethels Chickens

Out here in Plamoodu, things move pretty fast along Pattom Road. Our place, Hotel Rahmaniya Kethels Chickens, is tucked in near the HDFC Bank. If you know this part of Thiruvananthapuram, you know it gets busy. We are mostly known for the chicken we serve, which is what most people come in for. It’s a small operation really. We spend most of our mornings getting the kitchen set up and making sure everything is fresh. The address is Tc 12/145(4) if you are looking for the exact door. It’s not a big corporate hotel or anything like that. It’s more of a local spot where people drop in for a quick meal or a place to sit. Sometimes we run out of things early if the crowd is big. The staff here has been around for a bit and we just do our work without much fuss. The street outside is always noisy with cars and buses heading toward the city center. We keep the tables wiped down and try to stay on top of the orders. It’s a practical setup. There’s no fancy lobby or anything, just the dining area and the smell of cooking. It’s been this way for a while. We just keep our heads down and serve the food. People seem to appreciate that we don’t try to be something we aren't. It’s just a honest day’s work for us.
