Hotel Maurya Rajadhani

Our place is located at Panayil Veedu in Thottakadu. We are part of the Karavaram area in Kallamballam, which is a bit of a drive from the main Thiruvananthapuram city center. It’s a quiet enough spot compared to the big city, but we stay pretty busy with people coming and going. The building has been here for some time. We spend our days making sure the rooms are ready and the guests have what they need. It’s not a big corporate chain where everything is cold and perfect. We know the local shopkeepers and the people who live nearby. In the mornings, you can hear the birds and the sound of the nearby roads starting to get noisy. The kitchen usually smells like breakfast quite early. We have a small staff, mostly people from around this part of Kerala. We don't have fancy uniforms or big speeches. We just show up, clean the floors, check the bookings, and wait for the next traveler to pull up. Sometimes the rain in Kerala makes things a bit messy outside, but we try to keep the lobby dry. People stop by when they’re traveling through Kallamballam or headed towards the city. It is just a regular hotel run by regular people who live in the neighborhood. We focus on the daily chores and keeping the lights on for whoever stays the night.
