Our office is located at Souparnnika in Kavalayoor, which is part of the Varkala area in the Trivandrum district. It is a bit of a distance from the main city, but being out here in Kavalayoor has its own perks. Most people think of Varkala as just the beach and the cliffs, but for us, it is where we come to work at Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd every single day. We are tucked away in a spot that feels more like a home than a giant factory or a sleek corporate headquarters. The address is 695144, and we have been here long enough that the local postman knows us all. The work we do is technical and requires a lot of focus, so the quiet atmosphere of the village helps quite a bit. We are not one of those places with a fancy lobby or coffee machines on every floor. We have our desks, our equipment, and our daily routines. Some of the staff travel quite a way to get here, taking the local buses or riding their bikes through the narrow roads. It is a simple setup, really. We just show up, do our engineering or administrative tasks, and try to make sure everything runs smoothly. It is not always easy, especially when things get busy or the weather gets bad, but we manage. We are just a bunch of regular people working on big things in a small, quiet town in Kerala.
