Genpact.Hyderabad

This is a bit of an interesting setup because the name says Hyderabad but we are actually based here at Sabarigiri in Cheruvikkal. That’s in the Sreekariyam area of Thiruvananthapuram. We handle things for Genpact from this side. The office is really just a house converted for work. It’s located in a residential part of town, so it stays pretty peaceful throughout the day. We have our computers set up and we deal with whatever tasks come our way from the main office. Sreekariyam is a well-known spot in Trivandrum, so it’s easy for the staff to get here. We aren't a big branch with hundreds of people; it’s a smaller team working out of this specific address. Sometimes the rains in Kerala make things a bit difficult with the power, but we have backups for that. We don't spend money on big signs or decorations. It’s mostly just focused on the work we have to do. People around here know us as the place where the IT folks work. We’ve been at Sabarigiri for a while now. It’s a practical way to get things done without being in a crowded office tower. We just come in, do our shifts, and go about our lives in Cheruvikkal. It’s a straightforward way of working that suits us well. We keep the gate closed most of the time to keep the stray dogs out.
