Contry Vacations

Contry Vacations is situated at Anu Bhavan on Big Palla Street. We are in the Fort area of Trivandrum, which is a place with a lot of history. The TC number for our building is 37/800. Working in the Fort area means there’s always something happening outside, but inside Anu Bhavan, we try to keep things focused. We aren't a huge travel corporation with thousands of employees. We’re just a local team helping people figure out their holiday plans. Sometimes the office gets a bit warm in the afternoons, but we have the fans going. We spend a lot of time checking schedules and talking to hotels. It’s not always glamorous work; there’s a lot of time spent waiting for confirmations and sorting out errors in bookings. We don't use polished sales pitches here. If a trip looks like it might be too expensive or difficult, we just say so. Our street can get a bit crowded with traffic, being so central, but it makes us easy to find. We’ve been in this building for some time now, and the walls are covered with old calendars and notes. It feels like a real workspace. We show up, do the bookings, and head home when the sun goes down. It's a decent living and we enjoy meeting the different people who come through the door looking for a break from their normal lives.
