We have been running things from our office on Paris Road for a good while now. It’s right there at Bakery Junction, which most people in Thiruvananthapuram know can get pretty crowded around tea time. We’re tucked into the Pmg Junction area. It isn’t a fancy corporate setup with glass walls and uniforms. It’s just a few of us sitting at desks piled with papers and old diaries. We mostly deal with resorts and local tourism stuff. Sometimes the ceiling fan makes a bit of a clicking noise, but we’re used to it. We spend most of our mornings answering the phone and trying to find the best dates for people looking to get away. We don't use any scripts when we talk to you. If a place is booked up, we just tell you straight. It’s a lot of looking at maps and checking availability on the computer. We’ve seen how much the travel business has changed over the years, but we just keep doing things our own way. We like this part of town because you can get a good cup of tea just a few steps away. We aren't trying to be the biggest company around. We just want to make sure the bookings are done right and people know where they are going. It’s practical work and it keeps us busy from morning until the sun goes down over the junction.
