We've been at the India Tower in Edapazhanji for a while now. Most people around Vazhuthacaud know the building. It’s a busy spot, but inside our doors, we try to keep things a bit slower. Running Anandaniketan Ayurveda Resorts Private Limited isn't always easy. We spend a lot of our time making sure the rooms are tidy and the oils are ready. It’s a lot of physical work, honestly. Sometimes the lift in the tower acts up, and we have to walk the stairs, but that's just how it is in this part of town. We see folks coming in looking tired from the city noise. We just show them where to go and get started with the treatments. My uncle used to say that the weather here in Kerala dictates how the day goes. When it rains hard, we spend more time talking to guests in the lobby. We aren't a big fancy hotel chain with a million rules. We’re just a group of people who know a bit about Ayurveda and have this space in Vazhuthacaud. We keep our supplies tucked away in the back rooms. The traffic outside on the main road can be loud, but the walls are thick enough. We mostly just focus on the daily chores, checking the schedules, and making sure the staff has what they need. It’s a plain life, but we like being here near the junction.
