Our office is tucked away in Janvilla Nagar over in the Vellayambalam part of Thiruvananthapuram. You can find us at Palatty House, which is right there in TC9/2694. It’s a busy neighborhood and there’s always something going on outside our doors. We spend the whole day dealing with tickets and passports and people asking about flights to different places. It gets pretty loud when all the phones start ringing at once but we are used to it by now. The desks are usually piled up with forms and printouts because there is a lot of paperwork in the travel business. We have a few computers that have seen better days but they still work. Most of the staff has been working here in Sasthamangalam for a long time so we know the regular customers by their first names. They drop in just to say hello or to ask about a visa update. We don't have any big flashy signs inside, just some maps and calendars on the walls. Sometimes the coffee machine breaks down and we have to send someone out to the local shop. It’s just a normal workplace where we try to get the tickets issued without any mistakes. Every day is a bit different depending on where people want to go. We stay until the last client is sorted out and then we lock up and head home like everyone else.
