Venkat Bhavan

Venkat Bhavan is tucked into the Vrindavan Society in Thane West. We are at Shop No 4 in Building 14 A. If you are ever waiting at the Vrindavan Bus Stop, we are right there nearby. It is a very residential area, so we see a lot of the same faces every single day. Most of the people who come in live in the society or are just catching a bus to go to work or head back home. The shop isn't very large, so it can get a bit tight when the bus lets off a big group of people. We keep the place simple with just the basic things needed to serve food. There is no air conditioning, just the ceiling fans spinning around to keep the air moving. We spend a lot of our time behind the counter or back in the small kitchen area. The morning rush is usually the hardest part of the day because everyone is in a hurry to get where they are going. Once the afternoon hits, things quiet down a bit and we can catch our breath and do some cleaning. We don't do anything flashy here. It is just a spot in the building where you can get something to eat. We have become a part of the daily routine for a lot of neighbors. It is honest work and we are happy to be a part of the Vrindavan community for as long as we have been.
