Vaishnavi Spices

At Vaishnavi Spices, we are based in Village Alephata. If you are looking for us, we are located right near the area behind the taxi stand. It’s a busy little spot because of all the drivers and people coming and going from the village. You can hear the taxis pulling in and out all day long. Our setup is pretty simple, as we focus mainly on the spices that come through our doors. Being in a village means things move a bit differently than they do in the big cities. We know most of the people who walk by, and there is a lot of chatting over the fence. The air around here often smells like whatever we are processing that day. Sometimes it’s sharp and makes you sneeze, and other times it’s more earthy. We have a few rooms where we store everything, and it can get a bit tight when a new shipment arrives. We aren't some big factory; it's mostly manual work, packing things into bags and weighing them out. The floor is usually covered in a fine layer of spice dust by the end of the shift. We start work early in the morning when it’s still cool outside. By the time the taxi stand gets crowded in the afternoon, we are usually deep into our tasks. It’s a honest way to make a living and we like being here in Alephata. We don't plan on moving anywhere else.
