Gobindram Lachhmandas & Co.

Our shop is number 550, located in the Gobind Niwas building on the Main Road in District Thane. We are very easy to find because we are situated right near the Union Bank of India. Gobindram Lachhmandas & Co. has been a part of this busy street for many years. The Main Road is always full of vehicles and people walking to the bank or the nearby markets. Inside our shop, things are a bit more traditional. We haven't changed much over the decades, and we still prefer doing things the old-fashioned way. The shelves are high and usually packed with stock that has been carefully sorted over time. It is a family-oriented atmosphere here, and we often have regular customers who have been coming to us for a long time. The space is a bit cramped, especially when we get new shipments in, but we manage to keep everything moving. We spend a lot of our time talking to people, hearing their stories, and helping them find exactly what they are looking for. There is a lot of history in these walls, and you can feel it in the way the floorboards creak. We don't use any modern marketing tricks or flashy displays. We just open the shutters every morning and wait for the day to begin. It is a way of life that has served us well through several generations in Thane.
