Oriental Spice

Our place is in Shreeji Arcade, which is on Almeida Road in the Naupada area of Thane West. Most locals know the Nitin Company landmark or the Mahapalika Bhavan Marg, so we aren’t too hard to find. We’re right there in Panch Pakhadi, which is a busy little corner of Thane. We’ve been operating here for a while, just being a regular neighborhood spot where people can get a meal. It isn’t a fancy corporate operation; it’s just us working in the kitchen and out on the floor. The arcade gets quite a bit of foot traffic, especially in the evenings when everyone is heading home or meeting up with friends. We try to keep things practical. We focus on the cooking and making sure the place is ready for the dinner rush. Sometimes the street outside gets blocked up with cars, and it can be a bit of a mess, but that’s just part of living and working in Thane West. We’ve built up a bit of a routine over the years. We know our neighbors, and we know what the people in the 400602 area like. We don’t need a big mission statement to tell you that we just show up and do our jobs every day, hoping the food is alright and everyone leaves satisfied. It’s just how we run things here at Oriental Spice on Almeida Road.
