Utsav Hall

Bhayander East is a crowded place, especially near Lalbaug and the Father Joseph High School. That is where we are located. Most people know the school well so they find us easily. The hall itself isn't fancy. It is a place where families come together for things. We spend a lot of time moving chairs around and making sure the floor is swept. Sometimes it gets quite noisy when the school lets out, but that is just how the neighborhood is. We see a lot of local faces. People stop by to ask about dates or just to see how much space we have. The building has been here for years. It has that old feel to it. We keep things simple. If there is a small function, we get the lights ready. If it is a bigger thing, we might have to work late into the night. It is hard work keeping a hall running in a place like this. The weather gets hot and we have to make sure the fans are working right. We don't have a big office or anything. It's just us here, making sure the space is ready when someone needs it. We know most of the shopkeepers around the school area. It’s a tight community. We just provide the room and the rest is up to the families who come here. Sometimes the traffic outside is a mess, but once you’re inside, it’s okay.
