We are situated in the Owala area along Ghodbunder Road in Thane West. If you know where the Trimurti School is or the Sri Ram Hospital, you’re basically right there. the court yard is an open-air kind of place. We have a lot of plants around and some simple wooden tables. It’s not a fancy lounge with expensive lights. We just use some string lights that we put up ourselves. The ground is a bit uneven in places because of the tree roots, but nobody seems to mind. We serve some basic food and drinks that we like to eat ourselves. The kitchen is small, so when it's full, the food might take twenty minutes or so. We just tell people to relax and enjoy the breeze if there is one. Thane West is getting very crowded, so having this little bit of open space feels important to us. We aren't a big chain or a corporate business. It’s just a family-run spot where we do everything from taking orders to sweeping the floor at night. The noise from Ghodbunder Road is always there in the background, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We don't have a big mission statement. We just want to offer a place where you can sit under the sky for a while. The menu has a few handwritten notes where we changed the prices, but the food is honest. If you’re driving past Owala, stop by.
