Tejas Chinese Corner

Tejas Chinese Corner is a small shop located at Om Shree Ganesh Society. We are on the Old Mumbai Pune Road in Kalwa, Thane. Our shop number is 04. If you are looking for us, we are right opposite Gate number 1 of Manisha Nagar. It’s a busy stretch of road with a lot of cars and people moving between Thane and the rest of the area. We focus on making Chinese-style food, the kind you find at local stalls. We have a couple of burners going and a few tables if people want to sit down, though many people just take their food to go. It gets pretty smoky and loud when we’re cooking, especially in the evenings when everyone is coming home from work. Kalwa is a crowded place, and we are just one of the many small businesses trying to make it. We didn’t start this with any big plans. We just knew how to cook and found a shop that was in a good spot near the housing societies. The menu is simple, written on a board. We use local ingredients we get from the market nearby. It’s a lot of chopping vegetables and tossing pans all night long. Sometimes it’s exhausting, but we stay busy enough to keep going. We are just a regular neighborhood spot where you can grab a quick bite on your way home.
