Tandoor Corner

Tandoor Corner is right at Shop No 1 and 4 in Hari Niwas on L B S Road. This part of Thane West is always moving, and LBS Road is probably one of the busiest streets you could be on. We have been in this corner spot for some time now. The building is an old one, and you can tell by the way the walls look and the way the doors creak. We have two separate shop spaces that we use to keep things going. It is a lot of work managing a place right on the main road because of all the dust and the constant noise from the buses and cars. We get all sorts of people coming in, from workers on their break to families living in the apartments nearby. The space is a bit tight, so we have to be organized with how we move around. It is not a fancy corporate restaurant with a big office. It is just us in the kitchen and at the counter. We spend a lot of time cleaning the glass and the tables because of the pollution outside. The evening time is when it gets really busy with people stopping by on their way home from the station. We just try to keep our heads down and do the work. It is a local Thane spot that has seen the city change quite a bit over the years, yet we stay right here.
