Taloja DUM Biryani

We've been here on M.G. Road for a bit now, right near the station in Dombivli East. It’s a busy spot, especially in the evenings when everyone is heading home. We focus mostly on dum biryani because that’s what people usually ask for around here. The kitchen gets pretty hot when the big pots are on the stove, but that's just how it is. It isn't a fancy place with waiters in suits or anything. You just come in, get your food, and eat. Sometimes we run out of certain things if the lunch rush is bigger than we expected. We try to keep the spices right so it tastes like it should. Usually, we're busy prepping early in the morning, cutting onions and getting the rice ready. It’s a lot of work but it keeps us going. If you're walking back from the station, you've probably seen us. We don't do much advertising, mostly just people telling their neighbors about the taste. The shop is small, so it can get a bit crowded during the weekends. We just try to get the plates out fast. It’s just a simple local place for people who like biryani without a lot of fuss. We're right there near the Thane district line, so we get a good mix of folks coming through. Nothing too complicated, just good food and a roof over our heads. It works for us.
