Sudarshan English High School

We are based in Nalasopara East, which is part of the Palghar district. The area is always crowded and there is a lot of noise from the shops and the traffic. The school itself is in a building that has been here for a good number of years. Inside, it's quite simple. We have classrooms for different grades and the hallways are usually full of students moving between lessons. The benches in the rooms are made of wood and some of them have names carved into them from students who left years ago. We have a small space for the staff to sit and have their lunch. It’s not a corporate environment at all. We are just local people teaching the children from the neighborhood. During the rainy season, the roads in Nalasopara East can get flooded, which makes it hard for everyone to get to school on time. We just deal with it as it comes. There’s a small ground where the kids play during their break, but it’s not very large. We focus on the textbooks and the board syllabus. The office handles all the paperwork and it's usually quite busy with parents coming in. We don't have any flashy advertisements. It’s a straightforward school for families who live in this part of town. We just try to get through the syllabus and make sure the kids are learning something every day.
