Spice N Wok

If you find yourself in Khopat, Thane West, you might have walked past us at Gautam Chamber. We are right opposite the Bank of Hyderabad, which is usually how people find the place. Shop No 01 isn't huge, but we make it work. Spice N Wok is mostly about getting the food out fast and making sure it tastes right. We handle a lot of the cooking ourselves because it's hard to find people who care as much as we do about the flavor. The kitchen gets really hot in the afternoons, especially during the lunch rush when everyone from the nearby offices comes in at once. It can get a bit loud and chaotic, but that’s just how it goes here. We don’t have fancy decorations or matching uniforms. It’s a practical setup. We source our vegetables from the local market nearby every morning, so things stay fresh. Sometimes we run out of certain items by the evening, but that’s just because we don't like keeping leftovers for the next day. It’s better that way. We’ve seen a lot of people come and go from this part of Thane, but we’ve managed to stick around. We just keep the heads down and keep the woks moving. It’s hard work, and my hands usually smell like garlic and soy sauce by the end of the shift, but it’s a living. We aren't trying to be anything we're not.
