SNK Chinese Corner

If you are around Chikanghar Road in Kalyan City, you might have walked past SNK Chinese Corner at Shankar Palace. We are just a small shop, number 9 to be exact, near Chatri Bunglow. We started this place because we liked the idea of having a spot where people could get quick noodles or fried rice without spending too much money. It’s a pretty simple setup. I handle the wok myself most evenings, and I have a friend who helps with taking the orders and cleaning the tables. Thane gets pretty busy, and this part of Kalyan is no different. We see a lot of people stopping by after work or students looking for a cheap dinner. We don’t have a massive menu, just the things we know we can cook well and fast. The kitchen is small, so we have to be organized, or everything becomes a mess. Sometimes the stove acts up or we run out of a certain sauce, but we just deal with it. We’ve been at 421301 for a couple of years now and have a few regulars who come in every week. It isn't a fancy dining experience, just a local corner where the food is hot and the service is quick. We don't put much stock in appearances, as long as the food tastes the way it should. It keeps us going day to day and we like it that way.
