Shri Krishna Masale

Shri Krishna Masale is located in Vadape Village, out near the Bhiwandi Post Office in the Thane District. We are quite close to the police station, so it is easy to give people directions when they get lost. Our place is more of a workshop than an office. We spend most of our time grinding and mixing different masalas. It is a dusty job, and the smell of the spices can be very strong, but you get used to it after a while. We have been in this village for a long time, and everyone around here knows what we do. It is not a big corporate setup. It is just me and a few workers from the village who help out. We buy the whole spices from the market, dry them out in the sun, and then process them. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to spend the afternoon fixing them ourselves instead of working. That is just part of the deal when you run a small business on your own. We do not have a website or do any social media stuff. Most of our customers are local people or small canteen owners who have been buying from us for years. We keep our records in a simple notebook. It is an honest living. The rainy season can be tough because the humidity affects the drying process, so we have to be extra careful then. We just take things one day at a time.
