Shreya Restaurant

Being right across from the Virar Railway Station means there is always a crowd nearby. Shreya Restaurant sits on Vartak Road, and we see people rushing in and out all day long. Some are catching the local train and others are just coming home after a long day in the city. We opened this place because we saw how hungry everyone was after that long commute. It’s a busy spot, no doubt about that. The noise from the station and the trains is just part of our daily life now. We have some regular tables and a counter where people grab quick bites. It’s not a place where you sit for hours, but it’s comfortable enough for a meal. We keep the menu straightforward and simple. The staff knows most of the locals by name. Sometimes we run out of certain items early if the morning rush was particularly heavy. We just do our best to keep things moving and serve everyone. The floor gets dusty with everyone walking in from the street, so we are constantly sweeping up. It’s just how it goes when you’re in such a central location in Virar West. We don't have any big corporate backing, just us running the show every day. If you’re getting off the train, you can’t really miss our entrance. We stay open pretty late for the last commuters.
