Shiv Shanghai Restaurant

Shiv Shanghai Restaurant is tucked away in Sector 20 of Nerul, specifically at Nirmal Sadan, Plot No 103, Shop No 1 & 2. Most people know we are near Chanaram Hardware and Daily Needs in Nerul. It's a typical spot in Navi Mumbai - 400706 where we serve food every day. My brother and I started this because we wanted to have something of our own in the neighborhood. The kitchen is small, but we make it work. Some evenings the smell of spices fills the whole street outside. It gets a bit crowded on weekends, especially with families from the nearby flats coming in. We aren't trying to be fancy or high-end. It's just a restaurant where you can sit down and eat something decent. Sometimes the delivery guys are rushing in and out, which gets a bit chaotic near the front door. We keep the place as clean as we can, though things get messy when it’s busy. Navi Mumbai is always moving, and we are just part of that rhythm here in Sector 20. Being next to the hardware store helps people find us. We don’t have a big corporate team, just us and a few helpers in the back. It’s hard work, but seeing the same faces every week makes it feel alright. That’s pretty much the story of Shiv Shanghai Restaurant. We just open the shutters in the morning and get to work until late at night.
