Shamiana Restaurant

You can find Shamiana Restaurant inside the Plush Retreat area on the Badlapur Pipeline Road. We are out in Dombivli East, specifically near Hedutane Goan and the Katai Naka intersection. It is a bit of a trek from the main train station, but it is a fast-growing area these days. We’ve been here in the Thane district for a bit now. The location is 421201 if you are looking for the postal code. It’s a bit quieter than the middle of the city, which is something we enjoy sometimes. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone doing social media for us. We just rely on the people living nearby or those staying at the retreat for the weekend. It's a simple setup for a restaurant. We try to keep things relaxed and low-key. The staff is mostly people who live in the surrounding villages. We don't use a lot of fancy words or corporate talk to describe what we do. We just run a restaurant and serve the people who happen to come through the door. The pipeline road gets a lot of heavy traffic, but once you get inside the retreat area, it feels a bit different. We aren't trying to be a big chain or anything like that. It’s just Shamiana. We focus on the day-to-day stuff like keeping the kitchen running and making sure the tables are clean. If you are around Katai Naka, you might have seen our sign near the road. It is just a local spot.
