Savitha Public School

Savitha Public School is located in the basement of Shivkuttir Society. We are over in the Belvali area, right off Ambernath Road in Badlapur. It’s a bit of an unusual spot for a school, being in a basement and all, but it works for us. The society is mostly residential, so we have to be careful about the noise levels so we don't bother the neighbors too much. Being in Badlapur means we get a lot of local kids from the surrounding apartment blocks. The walk from the main Ambernath Road isn't too long, so it’s easy for the parents to get here. Inside, we’ve partitioned the space into different classrooms. It stays a bit cooler down here in the basement during the hot months, which is a nice plus for everyone. Sometimes it gets a little crowded when the parents come for meetings, but we manage by using the common areas of the society. We don't have a big playground of our own, so the kids use the space outside when they can. The entrance is just a simple set of stairs leading down. We’ve been here for a while and most people in Belvali know where Shivkuttir Society is. It’s a modest setup, nothing fancy or polished. We just focus on getting through the lessons and making sure the kids are doing their work. Life here is pretty quiet except for when school lets out and everyone heads home after the final bell rings.
