Savita Modern High School

Savita Modern High School is located at 618/2, Sadashiv Bhavan on B Cabin Road. If you live in Ambernath, you probably know where B Cabin Road is. It’s a pretty central part of town. The school is housed in Sadashiv Bhavan, which is just a normal building like many others in this part of Thane. We have been operating here for years now. In the mornings, you can hear the kids shouting and playing before the first bell goes off. It’s quite a sound that fills the street. We have different classrooms spread out across the space. It isn't a massive campus with a big sports field, but we make do with what we have inside the building. Most of the families who send their children here live within walking distance or just a short rickshaw ride away. You see the parents dropping them off on scooters or just walking them to the gate every single day. The halls are a bit narrow and the paint could probably use a fresh coat in some spots, but it feels like a real place for learning. We try to keep things organized, though with so many students, it can get a bit messy by the afternoon. During the monsoons, the road outside gets some big puddles, but the kids don't seem to mind much. We spend most of our time dealing with paperwork and making sure the teachers have their supplies. It’s just a neighborhood school.
