Savita Lunch Home

Savita Lunch Home is located in the New Bhawna Co-Operative Housing Society over in Thane West. We are right on Old Agra Road, specifically near the Castle Mill Naka. If you know that intersection, you know it is a very active part of Thane. Our little lunch home has been part of the neighborhood for quite some time, and we mostly see the same faces every day. It is the kind of place where people come when they want a meal that is not complicated. We have got our tables set up inside the society premises, and it stays quite busy from late morning until the afternoon. The 400601 area is full of people working and living in close quarters, so there is always a bit of chatter and the sound of plates clinking. We do not have any fancy menus or decorations hanging on the walls. It is just a plain room where we serve the food we cook every morning. Sometimes we run out of certain items early if the crowd is big, but that is just how a small kitchen works. We handle everything ourselves, from the shopping to the cleaning. It gets hot in the kitchen during the summer, but we keep the doors open to catch whatever breeze comes off Old Agra Road. It is just a simple, local eatery for the people around Castle Mill Naka who need a break.
