Sapat Rishi Gurukul School Bhagat Singh Ward is located in the Maratha Mali Building on Ahilyadevi Path. This is in the heart of Thane West, which is a very old and crowded part of the city. The building itself is an older structure, typical of this neighborhood. You have to walk down Ahilyadevi Path to find us. It’s not a grand campus with big gates; it’s more integrated into the residential and commercial life of the ward. We have our rooms on one of the floors there. The stairs are a bit steep and the hallways are narrow, but it’s a place that has a lot of history. Many of the families around here have sent their kids to us over the generations. It’s a very traditional setup, as the name Gurukul suggests, though we follow the standard school requirements. We don't have a playground of our own, so the kids use the local space nearby or just stay within the building for their breaks. It’s a busy, noisy, and lively environment most of the day. The teachers are mostly people who have lived in Thane for their whole lives. We don't use any slick marketing or big signs; we just rely on being part of the community here. It’s a basic, functional school that fits right into the local Bhagat Singh Ward lifestyle and serves the people who live and work nearby.
