Sai Krupa Lunch Home

We are located in the Nalkandi Apartment right on Station Road in Kalwa. Being so close to the station means there is always a crowd moving past our doors. Most days, it is just a lot of noise and people in a hurry to get somewhere else. We started this lunch home because we saw how many people needed a quick meal before heading back to work or getting on a train. It is not a fancy place with expensive decorations. We have simple tables and the kitchen is usually quite hot during the peak hours. Opposite Partik Time Kalwa is the best way to describe where we are if you are coming from the main road. The area in Thane is always busy, especially during the monsoon when everyone is trying to stay dry. We spend a lot of time cleaning the floors and making sure the dishes are ready for the next round of customers. It gets tiring but it is what we do. Some people have been coming here for years and we know exactly what they want to eat without them even asking. We don’t have a big menu, just what we can cook well every day. Sometimes we run out of certain items early if the afternoon rush is bigger than we expected. That is just how it goes sometimes. We are just local people trying to run a small business in a busy part of town.
