Saamish Restaurant

Our restaurant, Saamish, sits on Solanki Plot in the Louis Wadi area of Thane West. We are right opposite the Jeevan Prakash Society, which is a big landmark for anyone trying to find us. Louisewadi is a decent place to work, with a mix of homes and small businesses all around. We aren't a high-end place with valet parking or white tablecloths. It’s more of a neighborhood spot where the chairs might not all match and the menu is written on a simple board. We spend a lot of time in the kitchen, of course. Thane can get very crowded, and the noise from the street is something we’ve just grown used to over the years. We buy our groceries from the nearby markets and try to keep things as simple as possible. Some days are busier than others, especially when the weather is nice and people are out walking. We have a few staff members who have been with us for a while, and we all just pitch in where needed. Whether it's washing dishes or taking an order, everyone does a bit of everything. We don't spend money on advertising or anything like that. We just open the shutters in the morning and see who comes in. It’s a straightforward way to run a business. We focus on the daily tasks and don't worry too much about the rest of the world.
