Rangoli Restaurant & Bar

Rangoli Restaurant & Bar is located in the Yashorama Apartment building right at the Char Rasta in Dombivli East. If you know this part of Thane, you probably know Phadke Watch; we are situated right across the road from them. That corner is always packed with people moving toward the station or coming back home in the evening. It is a very busy spot. We have the restaurant side and the bar side, so the mood in the building changes depending on what time of day it is. In the early afternoon, it is mostly people looking for a quick bite. Later on, the lighting gets a bit lower and the bar side starts to fill up with people finishing their work shifts. The local trains are so loud you can almost feel the ground shake, even though we are a little walk away from the tracks. We spend a lot of time just keeping the place organized because things get messy quickly with so many people coming through the doors. The apartment residents who live above us are used to the noise of Char Rasta by now. We try to keep things quiet enough late at night so we don't bother them too much. The furniture is getting a bit older, but it is still comfortable. We don't really do anything fancy with the walls. It is just a spot where you can grab a drink and some food.
