We have been here in Ulhasnagar No 4 for a long time now. The school sits right opposite Gursangat Darbar Road, which is always busy with people and rickshaws moving about. It gets quite loud outside sometimes, but once the kids are inside the gates, things settle down a bit. We just try to get through the lessons every day and make sure the students are learning what they need to. Our building isn't fancy, but it works for us and the families who live around here in Thane. Some of the teachers have been with us for years, and they know most of the parents by name because everyone lives close by. In the mornings, you can see the students walking down the road in their uniforms. We don't have a huge playground, but the children find ways to play during the breaks. It’s just a normal school day here, starting early and ending when the afternoon sun is high. We deal with the usual stuff like power cuts or heavy rains during the monsoon, which can make the road outside a bit messy. The staff stays busy with paperwork and making sure the classrooms are ready. It’s a lot of work running a place like this in such a crowded area, but we manage. People know where we are because of the Darbar landmark. It’s just how things are in this part of town and we keep going.
