Purohit Bhojnalaya

You’ll find us at Dhanlaxmi Chamber, which is basically right opposite the Thane West railway station. It is a very busy part of town because of the trains and all the commuters passing through. Being so close to the station means there is never a quiet moment around Purohit Bhojnalaya. We see thousands of people walking past our doors every day. Many of them are just rushing to catch a train, but quite a few stop in to eat. Our location in 400601 is probably one of the most active spots in Thane. The building itself, Dhanlaxmi Chamber, has been around for a long time. We don't have any of those modern glass fronts or bright neon signs. We just have our name up and a place for people to sit down. It gets pretty loud with the station announcements and the traffic outside, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. Our staff just gets on with the work. We aren't trying to be the most stylish place in the world. We just want to be here for the people who need a meal before or after their commute. It’s a practical setup for a practical crowd. If you are standing outside the station, you just look across the road and there we are. No need for maps or anything complicated. We keep the doors open for everyone who comes by the station.
