Pimpleshwar Point Restaurant

Our restaurant is right on Kalyan Shil Road, which most people know as a pretty busy stretch of road in the Dombivli Industrial Area. We are basically opposite the Pimpleshwar Bus Stop, and the Pimpleshwar Mandir is right there too, so it’s a very easy place to spot if you’re traveling through this part of Thane. We named the place Pimpleshwar Point because of the temple nearby. It’s an industrial zone, so we get a lot of workers and people from the factories coming in for their breaks. The atmosphere is very practical and down-to-earth. We aren't trying to win any awards for decor; we just provide a place where you can get a meal and a drink without much trouble. The road outside is always full of trucks and buses, which brings in a lot of dust, so we spend a lot of our time cleaning. It’s just how it is in an industrial belt. We open up early to catch the morning shift and stay open late for the guys finishing up at night. Sometimes it gets really crowded and noisy, but that’s the sign of a good day for us. We’ve got a small team and we all do a bit of everything, from serving to cleaning to checking the stock. It’s hard work, but we’ve been doing it for years now and know the local crowd well. We don't do anything fancy, just the basics done right.
