New Malwa Dhaba

Being out here on the Thane Nashik Highway means we see a lot of different people. Our spot is in the Brr Complex in Saravali, right by the Bhiwandi Bypass. If you know this road, you know it never really sleeps. New Malwa Dhaba is pretty much what you’d expect from a place sitting on a major highway. We get truckers who are tired from long drives, families heading out on trips, and people who live nearby in Thane. It’s usually quite loud with the trucks going past, but we got used to that a long time ago. We don’t have any fancy decorations or corporate stuff. It’s just tables, chairs, and a kitchen that stays busy. The guys working here have been through many long nights. We started this place because people need a spot to sit down when they are traveling through Saravali. The weather gets really hot around here in the summer, so the shade is always nice. We aren't trying to be the biggest place on the highway, just a reliable one. Sometimes the supply trucks are late or the rain makes things messy, but we keep the doors open anyway. It’s a lot of hard work keeping a dhaba going 24/7, but it is what we know. We just take it one day at a time here at the bypass. It is a simple life for us on the road.
